The packaging is a clean one, and is comparable size-wise to a lighter. I like it a lot.

So, the scent. I didn't find the scent to be akin to "minty asscakes" but I did find that it was primarily mint, and I did get a bit of a sour undertone. Nothing overwhelming. I kind of wish I hadn't read that so my subsconsiousness wouldn't be looking for the smell, but I did get a second opinion from my brother and he shrugged and said, "just smells like mint." So there you have it!
Application wise, it goes on quite smooth - they're very soft just like the cuticle sticks. I find they last a long enough time on the lips but of course calls for a re-application every once in a while. The dial at the bottom pushes up the balm if you turn it clockwise, but beware - turning it counterclockwise did not retract the balm for me! Once it's out, it's out.

Overall, these lip balms are getting rave reviews. Personally for me, I will always stick to my Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment - I make 'invest' about $25 a pop on those lip balms and it's worth it for me as I have absolutely terrible lip biting habits. I bite my lip when I am stressed or anxious! Alas, I need something really heavy duty.
What do you make of Rainbow Honey's lip balms? Did you get Honeymint in your May Mystery Bag? What did you make of the scent?
