Bliss Polish Sailing Swatch and Review

Cheap Polish Tuesday is cancelled this week for Bliss Polish week! Again, I am highlighting some of Yvette's creations until Friday. She's given me some really great jellies to swatch, which I think are perfect for the summer season. Speaking of the summer season, I started doing my evening jogs and I am really out of shape apparently. Yep. Anyway, you can visit the shop here. You can also follow Bliss Polish on their Facebook page for more updates. Here's Sailing.

From Bliss Polish: A light blue crelly with various blue, silver and white glitters.

Again, I really think these are more jellies than crellies. No sign of anything creamy here! But again, I love them. What I love about the glitter mix is that Yvette picked some really great colours to compliment the blue base. Application was really nice because it was very self levelling - and I dabbed a few glitters on for coverage without any fuss. Here's my swatch in two and a half coats with a top coat:

For funsies, here's some white outlines. (I know you're probably sick of outlines so don't worry - there will be no more outlining for the rest of the Bliss Polishes!)

Overall, Sailing is a great polish. I don't own any blue hues quite like this so it's fairly unique to my collection! The glitters look so pretty in the jelly squishy layers. Almost reminds me of sailing - har har! Pretty happy with the way this one turned out.

What makes a polish *summery* to you? What do you do to stay active? (Probably not eat mini naan breads and hummus as a snack like Cthulhu is doing right now... *cough*) What do you think of this Bliss Polish?

Full disclosure: This sample was provided for an unbiased review.

  1. Hehe, I'm not sick of outlines, I love outlines :D The colors are gorgeous, also the base that makes the glitter shine through! I agree with jelly more than crelly judging from the pics..

    1. Hehe I think black outlines are much easier than white outlines for whatever reason - even if I am using the same brush!

  2. Ooh I'm loving this one, the bright blue glitters really make it pop!

I can't wait till I can start working out again! Peanut is squishing my lungs so I get winded just putting 5 sentences together, lol! I laugh, but sadly it's true.

    1. I can't believe I am going to say this but I REALLY NEED TO WORK OUT. I am so burned out from the wedding hustle and the 70-80 hour weeks are killing me. I can't believe so much has happened since when you left this comment and now. I hope you're able to work out now!

    1. ALMOST. Opal needs more shifty floaty colours. :D
