Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls - Crusader Class Inspired Nail Art

Welcome to Monday - I am missing the Bestie Nail Art challenge... Mostly because when I am left to my own devices, it's all Shitty Nail Art Monday. Today is no exception. As I was saying last week I made a whole bunch of posts to celebrate the launch of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls but was unable to post as I was bed ridden for nearly two weeks. (My left ear FINALLY popped yesterday!) Anyway, this nail art is inspired by the new Crusader class. It was inspired by their armour sporting crosses but...

The base colour is Zoya Snow White. I did freehand half moon shapes with Rainbow Honey Oni and the cross shapes were painted with a fine nail art brush with OPI Black Onyx.

I think I did a pretty awful job. I just couldn't make straight lines. There's not much to say about this but yeah... That happened.

Have you tried the new Crusader class in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls? What do you do to make straight lines? Tell me your life hacks!

  1. I have not tried it! But my boyfriend has been playing it since it was released...when he may or may not have taken the next day off work so he could start playing at midnight... it's okay, gives me time to blog while he's on his game :D the crystal thing in the last few photos is cool!

i can't really do straight lines either...

    1. Haha your boyfriend is my kind of people! I bet you he's really excited because this week they buffed the chances in rifts to get more legendaries. :D :D :D

Straight lines can go eff themselves. ;)

  2. I must say love your design! Straight lines are so difficult to paint unless you use tape! But I wouldn't have the patience for that... I'm still struggling with my not so straight lines!

    1. Haha I definitely don't have patience for tape! I usually will the next day if the polish is already painted on but I've screwed up so much nail art from not having any patience for the polish to dry!

  3. I'm sure my husband tried the new class. He's playing right now, I can hear the fighting sounds coming from the basement! :)
I suck at straight lines so I can't give you any advice. All I can say is small strokes - that's what I do.
I still love how your nails turned out, they look really cool! :)

    1. Hahaha everyone's SO is playing Diablo 3, and no one is playing it! Damnit, ah well. It seems like the trick is all in the patience and doing one stroke at a time. I'll take your advice as I always like how your work comes out. :)
