Oh heyo it's impromptu Bliss Polish week at good ol Cthulhu here. Yvonne sent over five polishes so I'll be sharing them all week! After a bit of a hiatus, Bliss Polish is open again and you can visit the shop here. You can also follow Bliss Polish on their Facebook page for more updates. Alright, first up on deck is Walking on Sunshine!
From Bliss Polish: "A light yellow crelly with various matte gold, holo gold and white glitters."
I wouldn't say that these polishes (there are four different colors) are crelly as they are more jelly. Super squishy ones, at that! The formula is good on this one - I was worried that the opacity of the jelly would be too faint but it covered well in two coats and I did some dabbing to make sure I got a lot of glitter in the mix. The jelly had a decent enough base to keep the glitters level but with that said, it did need a bit extra dry time. Here's my swatch with top coat:
Bliss Polish Walking on Sunshine is very lovely on its own but I added some gold and silver star studs from Born Pretty Store. I think it added a cute look!
As a fan of jelly polishes, I thought Yvette picked some very nice complimenting glitters to mix with the yellow jelly. The whole collection of these have a great composition.
What do you think of this Bliss Polish? Crelly or jelly? How would you wearing Walking on Sunshine?
Full disclosure: This sample was provided for an unbiased review.
Super sunny and I love the jelly/glitter look! The stars are adorable on top. I need to get some Bliss polish! :D
ReplyDeleteHehe I thought it was a good one to get started on! Reminds me of lemonade! Mmmmm.
DeleteLook at that! Awesome! Great addition with the stars too!!
ReplyDeleteHehe I think so too! Definitely added a little extra something. :)
DeleteI love this polish!
ReplyDeleteI usually don't like yellows but this one worked out quite well!
DeleteI don't think this shade of yellow would look good with my skin tone - BUT I think it's very pretty and I love the squishiness of it. I agree with you that it's more a jelly than a crelly, but it still gives good coverage.
ReplyDeleteAlso love the studs you added on.
I'm going to have to do reverse Dragon Ball nails with those studs too, hehe. :D :D
