Mario Kart 8 Luigi Death Stare Inspired Nail Art

Ahhh regular programming: it's Shitty Nail Art Monday here where we venture into the land of nail art, and where I execute great ideas.... poorly. Here's a great example of it. Mario Kart 8 has been all over the news lately and where I'm usually excited because I love Mario Kart, the Internet had another view: Luigi being a hard ass and giving the greatest death stare of all time. This is the year of Luigi after all.









I actually spent quite a while on these nails but I guess you would never be able to tell. Painting with the tiniest brush in the world with the tiniest amount of nail enamel takes a Hell of a lot of patience. So let my mistakes be lessons for you: When you think that 2AM is a great time to start your nail art, it's just your brain playing tricks.

I had originally used Luigi Death Stare as a highlight nail and used his kart's colours for my other nails but I thought it looked bad:





Then I decided to cover my nails with all nail art, incorporating a skill shot green shell and some coins (which is making a come back to Mario Kart 8) but.... that looked bad too:







I am on Day 3 of wearing my Luigi Death Stare nails because it took so goddamn long to do. Like, so long. So long that I am too embarrassed to say how long. If anything, though - it just made me want to do some calligraphy nails because "Fuck Bitches Get Money", in true Luigi style. Kind of.
